Barb

Hi there, my name is Barb. I am a gorgeous four-year-old kitty who has come to the GTHS to find my forever home after being found out in the cold as a stray.

You’ll likely find me in a kennel, rather than loose in the main adoption room. Why? I’m what’s known as a spirit cat – a cat who is very nervous and shy. I tend to hide away if I’m loose in the room, so my human friends here at the shelter set me up in a cozy spot where potential future families can get to know me.

Once I am in a home, my new family will have to give me LOTS of time and patience to let me settle in, but I just know they’ll be so very happy they gave a special kitty like me a chance!

I truly am such a sweetheart! When you go slow and are patient, you can hear me purr and lean into you for more scratches. I just need that right person to come along who is willing to give me the time I need to get settled, get comfortable and most importantly, to love and trust you.

Please make a trip over to the shelter and talk with our Adoption Counselors to learn more about me. The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m., every single day of the week and they would be happy to introduce you to me! I can't wait to meet you and look forward to starting my new life with my new family soon.

xoxo Barb
