Prince

Hi humans, my name is Prince. I'm a teeny tiny little senior guy, looking for a special someone and special retirement home for my golden years!

I truly am quite a small boy, coming in at a whopping 11-12lbs (of mostly fluff, let's be honest).

I came to the GTHS a little while ago from another rescue through their Transfer Program, so I'm pretty excited to be here and to find my furever person.

I'd say I'm kind of a combination of an easy companion, but also a bit of a grumpy old man sometimes who is set in his ways haha but can you really blame me?

I'm a little bit sensitive about body handling (especially with humans I don't know very well), so I hope my new family can be patient with me and be respectful of my old man ways. I'm just not the kind of guy you can pick up and snuggle as soon as you meet me - and trust me, A LOT of people want to do that just because I'm little. But please, please, give me time to get comfortable with you first!

Even though I'm a senior guy, I do have a good bit of energy for my age. I like getting out for nice long walks and have quite lovely leash manners as I trot along beside you!

I may have my quirks and it may take us a bit of time to understand one another, but I DO hope you'll give me a chance! I really am such a sweet little guy who just desperately wants to find a cozy, loving home with a wonderful human so we can have a happily ever after together.

A snuggly dog bed by a fire, lots of long walks, quiet evenings together while you read or maybe we watch a movie together....ahhhh, that's the good retirement life right there!

If you've got a spot in your heart and home for a senior fluffball, then please send in your application! Then the GTHS Adoption team can tell you some more about me! My adoption fee is only $250 and includes my neuter, my trip to the dentist, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip.

I look forward to meeting you soon, retirement buddy and future BFF.

Wags,
Prince
