JUST RECOVERY SIMCOE

Do you want to make sure your provincial candidates represent special issues of concern? On May 16, Just Recovery Simcoe will hold the first Simcoe-Grey all-candidates meeting in the upcoming provincial election.
The debate will engage Simcoe-Grey provincial candidates on issues that support the health and well-being of our communities and our environment such as affordability, poverty reduction, environmental protection, area development, and climate action.
The meeting is supported by a broad alliance of groups across Simcoe County, including Preserve the Escarpment, which represents area communities that are among the fastest-growing towns in Canada. It is a virtually moderated debate and an open forum via Zoom.

Just Recovery Simcoe is a non-partisan organization that connects NGOs and grassroots organizations across Simcoe around addressing the social determinants of health in government decision making.
Preserve the Escarpment represents hundreds of active supporters, including farmers, business people, and residents concerned with protecting the escarpment’s local agriculture and sensitive environment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
