The Collingwood Chamber of Commerce will be hosting two meet-the-candidates events at the end of the month and is asking for questions from residents for the candidates.

On Sept. 27, the chamber will host the mayor and deputy mayor candidates for the question-and-answer style event. On Sept. 29 the chamber will host the councillor candidates.

The chamber is looking for questions from business owners, employees, and residents of the community. The questions will be asked randomly by a moderator. To submit questions for consideration, email Trish Irwin at the Chamber of Commerce at [email protected]

Candidates will also have time to make an opening comment before answering questions.

Both events will take place at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63 in Collingwood. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m.

The Town of Collingwood will have an information booth at each of the events to answer questions about the voting process.
