Grey Bruce Health Unit reports three new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

The Grey Bruce Public Health Unit confirms two new COVID-19 cases in Southgate and one new case in the Municipality of Grey Highlands

The Grey Bruce Public Health Unit (GBHU) is reporting three new lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in the region in the past 24 hours.

In the situation report released at 4:30 p.m. today, GBHU confirms two new COVID-19 cases in Southgate and one new case in the Municipality of the Grey Highlands.

Grey Highlands now has five confirmed cases of COVID-19, after confirming its fourth case on Saturday.

The Grey Bruce region has now seen 88 total cases of COVID-19. Fifty-nine cases are being reported as recovered.

Two long term care facilities remain in outbreak status - Parkview Manor in Chelsey and Brucelea Haven in Walkerton.

GBHU confirms that universal testing will continue in all long term care facilities over the next two weeks.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Grey County include - Owen Sound (44); Southgate (9); West Grey (5); Grey Highlands (5); Blue Mountains (4); Georgian Bluffs (1); Meaford (1); Chatsworth (1); Hanover (0). Bruce County currently has 18 confirmed cases.
