Passed away peacefully on Sunday April 21, 2024 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in his 87th year.
Fred, beloved husband of the late Edith Richens (nee Redpath). Loving father of Debbie, Beverly (Brian), Brenda (Steve), Amanda (Sean) and Samantha. Cherished grandfather of Jesse (Holly), Eric (Brooklyn), Andrew (Ashley), Tyler, Blake (Jenn), Tory (Josh), Calista and great grandfather of Amelia. Survived by his brother Paul (Debbie) Richens. Will be sadly missed also by his beloved Doberman "Doogie". Predeceased by sisters Margaret, Linda, Patricia, Jean, brother Bruce and parents George and Margaret Richens.
At Fred's request, a private family interment will take place at First Presbyterian Cemetery, Collingwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society in Mr. Richens memory.
