Ron Conklin was a former Scout Leader with Scouts Canada and very involved with the wrestling program at CCI both as an athlete and a later a coach. Sadly, Ron passed away peacefully on Friday April, 19, 2024 at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood at the age of 60. Ron, beloved husband of Rita (nee Canale). Cherished father of Monica. Loving son of William and the late Jane Conklin. Survived by his brothers Rob (Shirley), Stephen (Joanne) and brother in law Jim Canale. Sadly missed also by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents in law Elena and Alessandro Canale, and grandparents Isabel and Fred Griffin and Amos and Audrey Conklin.
Cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Ron's Life to take place at a date to be named later. The family wish to send a sincere thank you to Dr. Cornell, RVH Cancer Care Program, SE Health, Best Centered Care, Closing the Gap, NSM Home & Community and Hospice Georgian Triangle for all of their care and compassion.
