Collingwood's Junior 'A' hockey team is on a winning streak and its landed them the number one spot in the Canadian Junior Hockey League rankings.
The Collingwood Blues have kept their top spot for two weeks in a row, after winning all nine of their season games so far. The local team is the only Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) team in the top six for the nationwide rankings.
The Blues have won eight home games and one away game, and don't have a loss in season play yet.
As of Oct. 3, the top 10 teams in the Canadian Junior Hockey League were as follows:

- Battelfords North Stars (SJHL)
- Humboldt Broncos (SJHL)
- Summerside Western Capitals (MHL)

- Milton Menace (OJHL)
- Miramichi Timberwolves (MHL)
- Toronto Jr. Canadiens (OJHL)
The Blues play the Burlington Cougars Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. and the Georgetown Raiders on Oct. 8. Both are away games for the Blues.
