The Collingwood Blues are going for a repeat of last year's success now that they've made it to the Ontario Junior Hockey League championship series.

The Blues are the defending champions of the Buckland Cup, and will be playing the Cobourg Cougarsor the Trenton Golden Hawks for it starting next weekend in Collingwood in a seven-game series.

In Leamington yesterday, the Blues finished their playoff series sweep with a 4-2 victory against the Leamington Flyers to become the western conference champions for the provincial junior league.

Last year, the Blues won the championship game on home ice on April 28 in the fifth game of the series, with an overtime goal that took the score to 2-1 for the Blues. They played the Trenton Golden Hawks.

Tickets for the championship series will be available online soon at cwoodblues.com.
