D'SOUZA, Lineth Marie Jose

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 30, 2024, at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital in her 83rd year.

She is survived by her loving husband Mel D’Souza and her daughters Helen D’Souza and Gillian (Richard) Yeates. She was a cherished grandma to her grandchildren Liam (Hannah) and Mallory and great granddaughter Morgan.

The youngest child of Wenceslas and Rose Fernandes, born December 6, 1941, in India. She was predeceased by two brothers and her sister. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially Alfred and Frank (Sylvia).

Lineth was kind, generous and had great style; she loved to sparkle. Her love of her family was paramount, especially when it came to her treasured grandchildren. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends and all the lives she touched during her life.

Funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Friday May 10, 2024. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
